Final Supreme Court Ruling against Korea United in Drug Pricing Lawsuit... Damages of 24.1B KRW Confirmed, 5.3% of Equity
The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal by the National Health Insurance Service, making final the lower court ruling that Korea United must pay damages in the drug pricing lawsuit.
Korea United is now liable for 24.1 billion KRW (5.3% of equity), based on individual financial statements at end-2025 with equity of 454.6 billion KRW, a manageable amount.
Although the ruling results in immediate cash outflow, it removes legal uncertainty and closes the long-standing litigation.
