KT&G Decides In-Kind Contribution of Real Estate to Subsidiary Sangsang Stay
KT&G decides to transfer three real estate properties including Gangnam Station building to its wholly-owned subsidiary Sangsang Stay via in-kind contribution, with a transfer value of KRW 127.3 billion.
Purpose: Strengthen subsidiary's business competitiveness through real estate business restructuring.
Transfer date: Expected in August 2026, subject to change based on court approval and other factors.
Transfer value based on external appraisal, may change during court approval process.
Board resolution: May 7, 2026, all 6 outside directors present, auditor present.
In-kind contribution will result in decrease of tangible assets and acquisition of new shares.
