LG Chem Transfers Assets Worth KRW 17.3 Billion to Affiliate TW BioMass Energy
LG Chem decided to transfer equipment assets (boilers, water treatment, transformers) and land/buildings at its Yeosu Hwachi plant to affiliate TW BioMass Energy Co., Ltd. for KRW 17,277 million.
The purpose is to enhance efficiency by unifying low-carbon heat supply facility operations, resulting in decreased tangible assets and cash inflow from the transfer price.
